Department Coordinator (3416)

Provides mix of general office and Adminstrative support to a department or function. responsibilites may vary depending on department or fucntion assigned.
Perform various tasks as identified by a department or function. Aides in the coordination of events and activities, some which may be re-occurring requiring repeat coordination. Produces standard and specific reports as requested. Maintains and updates policies, statistics and general information. May provide administrative support as needed. May have timekeeping responsibilities where needed. Strong knowledge of MS Office suite and specialized software in a related field. Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills. Must have the ability to prioritize workflow and handle multiple activities. The ability to complete tasks by following general guidelines and polices is essential. Ability to identify errors or faults in process and recommend solutions. Must be self-directed and motived to complete repetitive tasks. sensitivity to confidential information's is required.
High school diploma or equivalent required. some college coursework preferred Min. of 2+ yrs of experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
